Session Breakdown

You'll build a clear mental model of how AI systems actually work — and the skills, context, and vocabulary to bring the rest of your team along.

Get hands-on with the current AI ecosystem and identify where AI tools create real operational leverage. Build a practical understanding of tokens, context, model behavior, and how to evaluate which tools are worth adopting for your workflows.

Go deeper into a powerful AI work environment (Claude Cowork) and learn how to consistently get better results from daily use. Cover the core building blocks — prompts, context, tools, skills, and MCPs — and explore how AI connects to the systems your team already uses.

Learn how to prototype operational tools quickly with AI-assisted development. Build lightweight scripts, internal utilities, and simple interfaces that transform data, generate reports, automate analysis, and reduce manual work.

Move from one-off prototypes to structured AI-powered applications. Learn how to design app flows that use models intentionally, manage user inputs and outputs, connect to APIs, and turn AI capabilities into reliable software experiences.

Learn what agents are, how they work, and when they are actually useful. Design agents with clear goals, instructions, tools, memory, and constraints so they can handle real operational tasks without becoming unpredictable.

Get acquainted with autonomous agents and what they can realistically do. Explore platforms like OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude-based agent workflows, and similar systems while learning the core layers of agent setup: goals, instructions, tools, context, permissions, triggers, and oversight.

Learn how to extend an autonomous agent into practical bot-based workflows. Build the technical and operational skill set for configuring bots, connecting them to tools like Slack, and designing automations that support real team processes. Explore where bots are useful, and where they break down in real scenarios.

Re-design an end-to-end operational workflow around AI-native capabilities. Map the people, tools, data, decisions, and handoffs involved, then design a new workflow where AI systems remove bottlenecks and create measurable leverage.

Bring your idea to life with dedicated build time and instructor support. Work independently or in small teams to design and develop a project of your choice, with guidance on technical direction, workflow design, and how to build something relevant to your goals.

Celebrate what you’ve built by presenting your capstone to your peers and instructor. Highlight the problem you chose to solve, the system you built, and the path to adoption inside your work — or what you plan to build next. Get feedback and input from the Overclock network, and leave inspired by the builds from across your cohort.

“Overclock has been the most meaningful professional experience of my career. I left making things I didn't know I could make.”

Feedback From The Field

What our fellows say

“Without a doubt, the single best investment in my career in many years. The content is practical - you learn in class, and can apply most concepts to your work life immediately. It’s the perfect middle-path for non-technical leaders who are looking to use AI to transform!”

AISLING DOUGLAS

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS

“If you think you understand AI, most of us are barely scratching the surface. Overclock completely changed that for me, it opened my eyes to an entirely new level of capability and introduced me to powerful tools and workflows I never knew existed. If you want real leverage in AI engineering, this program will blow your mind and accelerate your skills fast.”

SERVIO MORA

SENIOR FRONT-END ENGINEER

“I use Ai for everything now. Before I would use Ai 1 or 2 times a week (minus tab completion). But now! I use it at least 3-4 hours a day. I used Claude code to write my RFCs at work. I used Claude and Cursor to create new features for my Shopify app. I coded features that would have taken me months to complete (if I didn’t abandon it due to boredom) to finishing features in 2 weekends. Its so wild!”

BRYAN TRAN

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

“Amazing quality. It’s quick, and it dives right in. Jump into it, begin building right away.”

MIKEL SOLIS

SR. SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER

“Overclock was a complete mindshift for me despite my 10 years at high growth startups. [[You learn to think AI-first in a way that would take years of self-learning to do otherwise.]]”

EZZY SRIRAM

FOUNDER / CEO

“The AI world is nuts right now. Overclock gives you the knowledge and courage to [[navigate the chaos]].”

PETER TUMULTY

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

“Overclock accelerated my ability to build my own business, develop and refine new products, and validate ideas. I am using it currently to create a new kind of life insurance company built around earlier detection and treatment of cancer and cardiometabolic disease. The instructors are terrific and especially good at getting the best out of the cohort!”

JEREMY SHANE

VENTURE PARTNER

“Overclock broke down complex AI concepts into what actually matters. The most enduring lesson was this: AI amplifies both good decisions and poor ones. Without rigorous scope, discovery, and business alignment upfront, you’re not accelerating transformation, you’re accelerating drift. Now more than ever, "the work" before the work is the work.”

MAROQUINE AZIZ

FRACTIONAL COO

“The unlock in my productivity from what I learned has been exponential. It's moved from “how can I use AI to move faster” to "how do I prioritize all the amazing ideas that I KNOW I can easily execute with my newly upgraded capabilities." Those I work with are regularly amazed at what I’m producing.”

LUKE WALLACE

GROWTH & MARKETING CONSULTANT

“It’s the best decision you’ll make in terms of self learning right now for anything tech related! I got the confidence to talk about projects I’ve built and I knew what was going on. In my interviews for the current company I’m working at, I talked about these projects for each round and they loved how confident I was and how I knew exactly what I built.”

ABDULMUJEEB AHMED

APPLICATION ENGINEER

“The way that the course material is laid out is more like a set of Legos — i.e., you’ve learned about these 5 bricks/pieces in the AI ecosystem — now you can assemble them in any way you want to build something amazing.”

JUSTIN JOHNSON

VP OF ENGINEERING

“Earlier, when people talked about AI, LLMs, all of that —it was a black box for me. Now I feel confident talking to my team or leadership and saying, ‘This is what I know — and this is what we could build.'”

SREEHARI ILLURI

SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

“Overclock pushed me to go farther with AI than I would have otherwise. I now build things only larger companies with huge budgets could have before.”

CHARLA EVERHART

VP OF HR OPERATIONS

“Professionally, it's unlocked a concept and framework that I have been working on for years and helped my confidence. In a new world riddled with AI hype, crap and confusion, it's still people that matter. And the instructors and classmates at Overclock were a good reminder of this.”

JIM SMITH

CUSTOMER SUCCESS LEADER

“Things that used to take hours or days - now take minutes. I built custom tools and processes for repetitive data work, and already gotten positive feedback. Overclock meets you where you are, super engaging, and supportive. The community makes it special!”

ELENA KRITSKAYA

MARKETING OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

“Even coming in with prior AI experience, I was surprised by how much faster I learned to move. The accelerator helped me go from “knowing the tools” to actually thinking in systems and building with much more speed and clarity.”

NADIRAH DURR

SENIOR ENGINEER

“As someone who was pretty skeptical, I think now is the most important time to be both critical and embracing about AI. Overclock doesn’t waste time with the branded chat bots and off the shelf AI solutions. You pick up a mindset shift that positions this technology agnostically so you are left feeling empowered to build something for YOU.”

ANGEL ANCHETA

CUSTOMER SUCCESS MANAGER

“I’d tell a friend that the cohort was genuinely enjoyable and one of the most practical learning experiences I’ve had. The teaching was clear, engaging, and focused on actually building with AI rather than just talking about it. What stood out most to me was how much my thinking changed over the course of the program. I came in wanting to learn more about AI tools, but I left understanding how to design workflows, structure AI systems, and turn ideas into something tangible. It was challenging in a good way, and I walked away feeling much more confident in what I can create and how I can apply AI in my work.”

EUNICE DEVIS

MANAGER, PEOPLE TECHNOLOGY

“AI is moving incredibly fast, but at most companies there is still hesitation because of distrust, unclear policies, or a lack of real projects. Outside of work, it is hard to find dedicated time and structure to explore it seriously, so it keeps getting pushed aside. Overclock creates that space. It covers both the fundamentals and more advanced concepts, but more importantly it gives you the time, structure, and push to actually build and experiment. The instructors are accessible and act as real sounding boards, not just lecturers. If you know AI is going to reshape how we build but have not had the right environment to really lean in, this gives you the momentum and support to do it properly.”

HAARIS PADELA

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANAGER

“Overclock Accelerator teaches you how to successfully use AI in your life. From learning how to vibe code, to prompt engineering and creating your own agents, they cover it all. I came into this course basically knowing how to use AI for essentially autocomplete or helping answer some coding questions. I walked away knowing how to effectively use AI and create my own multi-agent application.”

TOM RENICKER

BACKEND DEVELOPER

“Prior to Overclock, I would spend 80% of my time wrestling with the code... Now it's the reverse. 80% of my time actually solving problems, shipping code to production. Overclock reignited my passion for coding, because I'm not dealing with as much of a headache as I once was.”

ARRON LINTON

FOUNDER / OWNER

“I have developed more and better work in 11 weeks than I have in the past 9 years. There is an immediate value I bring to my current role in my company's push to adopt AI into their product lifecycle.”

ADAM WALLIS

AI PLATFORM ENGINEER

“Honestly, this program makes it feel like anything is literally possible, no matter your skill level. After the first two weeks, I was fully confident in my ability to create anything.”

HARSHIL PATEL

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE MANAGER

“If you’re serious about actually building agentic AI products (not just calling an API and calling it “AI”), Overclock is worth it. The biggest mindset shift is realizing AI isn’t just a tool, it’s a collaborating team you architect and manage. If you want to be ahead of the curve instead of reacting to it later, this is a fast way to get there.”

WAQAS ALSUBAYEE

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

“Overclock has been the most meaningful professional experience of my career. I left making things I didn't know I could make.”

ABDULLA ALMOUMEN

CREATIVE DIRECTOR & PRODUCER

“Since Overclock, I've been able to create meaningful products that make my work more efficient, and I've been able to help other people build and learn. It's fast-paced and lots of time spent building vs passively receiving information.”

ASHLEY MURPHY

FOUNDING PRODUCT LEADER

“The impact of this program showed up almost immediately. I’d been stuck on a problem doing it manually too long. Using what I’d learned, I was able to build a system that solved it.”

ERIKA BRAMWELL

SR. LEAD, AI STUDIO PROGRAM OPERATIONS

“I’d let my work speak for itself. This program is challenging, hands-on, the instruction and support are top-notch. This course is engaging. There wasn’t a moment I wasn’t plugged in. I looked forward to every class. I’ve gained the confidence to interview for roles at companies that would have been far fetched otherwise.”

ROBERTO LAGOS

SR. CUSTOMER SUCCESS MANAGER

“I was laid off two months into the accelerator, so I used what I was learning to build a job tracker that brought structure to my search. With zero prior coding experience, I created a tool I used every day and a working solution I could point to in interviews. I believe it played a big role in helping me land my next job! I presented it as my capstone and even have other people using it now!”

COREY WEIL

SR. TECHNICAL RECRUITER

“Change is happening faster than most people realize, and OA give you the tools to you keep pace. The courses immerse you in real-world scenarios with hands-on applications you can apply across any industry. But honestly, one of the best parts was the networking — learning alongside fellows in different business areas let me explore ideas I wouldn't have considered otherwise, and I was able to bring those back into my own role.”

JOSHUA POFFENBERGER

CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER

“I was learning slowly on my own, piecing things together. With tons of AI tools available, it was often confusing to know what to learn or which tools were actually the best to use. Overclock compressed months of trial and error into weeks. The biggest difference was learning the complete AI workflow—the nitty-gritty of how everything fits together—and understanding which tools truly help reduce my work and effectively support what I’m building.”

POORNIMA SEWAK

DEVELOPER

“After taking the accelerator, I feel fully confident which is a complete 180. I feel confident reading new insights, picking up new tools quickly, and being able to structure new projects that a few months ago would have never been a possibility for me.”

MARIAH MCLAUGHLIN

DEVELOPER ADVOCATE

“With some of the technologies I’ve worked with professionally in the past, I kind of felt like I was in a weird niche of SWE. But since learning these skills, I’ve had recruiters contacting me, people reaching out to me asking for my advice, which is very humbling to me, I never would have expected to get that kind of attention. It’s the first thing that recruiters notice is the Overclock Accelerator before even my full-time role.”

LOU RITTER

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

“It's a great space to hone your AI skills with like-minded builders and keep current on a space that's evolving at breakneck speed. In my first or second week I decided that I would build a long-running idea I had but never had the time to build it how I wanted. I used my time at Overclock to build my app and have a really fun product at the end that I was proud of and will continue to build!”

JEFF SHAPIRO

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

“The accelerator just made me realize that I've been working way too hard. Something that would have taken me months—probably a year or two—to get updated features done in... an hour? It's insane.”

TERRA TAYLOR

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

“I thoroughly enjoyed that the entire class, it’s completely hands-on. You get exposure to AI from every angle. Each week you work through real development projects with a clear roadmap and step-by-step guidance. By the end, you’re not just using AI tools, you’re building AI-powered products and agent workflows directly into applications in ways that expand what your software can do.”

Have questions? Find answers to the most common ones below.

Yes! Wherever you may be on the spectrum of building with AI, there's a place for you in the AI Ops Accelerator. No engineering background necessary. We designed this program with real-world "operators" in mind, the people bringing order to chaos and keeping their companies functioning without a hitch.

We have rolling cohort start dates, with primarily evening (6:30pm ET) cohorts and some daytime (12pm ET) cohorts. Sessions are 90 minutes, meeting once weekly.

All sessions are recorded as well, in case you miss.

On average, our Fellows spend 5–10 hours a week, including 90 minutes of weekly session time and sprint assignments. Some weeks may run 10-15 hours, depending on how "mad scientist" mode you go. ;)

You build, constantly. You’re hands-on every week, with room to ask questions, apply what you learn, and learn from other leaders and builders across industries.

We’re builders and educators at heart, too. Our team has trained over 100,000 professionals across education companies we've built for over a decade.

Many AI Fellows have received job offers and recruiter outreach, both during the accelerator and after it. The skills they build apply right away, and employers in every industry want them.

Others have grown inside their own organizations. They’ve earned promotions, become trusted voices on AI decisions, and been given expanded access and responsibilities because of what they learned in the program.

Our instructors build and run production agent systems for a living. They teach from the frameworks they use every day, through live demos, candid post-mortems, and hands-on guidance to help you build the right mental models and pick the AI tools that fit your work.

Yes, but minor! We recommend budgeting around $20–$50/month for AI subscriptions and/or usage credits so you have room to build and experiment without constantly hitting limits. Costs will vary depending on the tools you choose and how much you use them.

We do, separate from accelerators! We work directly with companies to help drive AI transformation, everything from executive strategy, corporate trainings, and/or consulting. If you'd like to hear more, email team@overclockaccelerator.com.
